Keyboard Shortcuts
Most people know and use the keyboard shortcuts for Bold, Italics, and Underline with no problem, but there are a couple that I use on a daily basis that I've recently realized a lot of people are not aware of. The CTRL key when pressed at the same time as a letter key will perform many useful functions. These shortcuts can make typing quicker and easier when you get accustomed to using them. No more searching the screen for ICONS when you can just use your keyboard for these very common functions we use every day: CTRL + B = Bold CTRL + I = Italics CTRL + U = Underline CTRL + P = Print CTRL + Z = undue CTRL + X = cut CTRL + C = copy and CTRL + V = paste This last one is usually a bit harder to remember because the "P" was already used for print. If you just remember the order of the last 4 keys on the left bottom row of your keyboard - - - Z, X, C, V, become Undue - then cut, copy, paste (in that order) |
